AMC Phoenix Raven Course continues strong
Phoenix Rave Qualification Course students practice extending the Armament Systems and Procedures baton and getting into a defensive position ready to strike during the Phoenix Rave Qualification Course at the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center, Aug. 14, 2020, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The course, which ran from July 27 to Aug, 19, qualifies selected security forces personnel to perform as members of a force protection team assigned to deploy with Department of Defense aircraft to austere environments. Students are trained to perform as teams to detect, deter, and counter threats to personnel/aircraft at deployed locations by performing close-in aircraft security and advising aircrew on force protection measures. USAF EC hosts Virtual Conference on MCA Expeditionary Skills Training Program
Members of the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center host a virtual instructional system development conference with more than 40 participants across multiple U.S. Air Force major commands, July 16, 2020, at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. The purpose of the conference was to start the development of a training program based on the multi-capable Airmen training syllabus for agile combat employment, which was approved in January. The commands that took part in the virtual instructional system development conference included U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa, Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command, Pacific Air Forces, Air Education and Training Command, National Guard Bureau, Air Force Reserve Command, Air Force Global Strike Command, Air Force Flight Standards Agency, and Headquarters Air Force.
